The Process

The healing process is both simple and complex. A confusing statement in itself. Healing is a very natural and down-to-earth phenomenon, it is something that is innate in all of us. We can all heal ourselves, and we all have the potential to be healers. Our bodies have evolved over millions of years and are fantastic organisms. At a cellular level our DNA holds the secrets to life, and within that there is the ability and potential to heal ourselves of whatever condition we are unlucky enough to acquire in life. Healing can certainly seem to be very esoteric and mystical, and some healers thrive on that image. Yet there is no need to buy into that belief system unless you actually want it. Healing can be as mysterious and complex, or as simple and user friendly as you want it to be. It's up to you, your belief system, and your requirements.

So how does healing work...?

Well, that's a tough one. There are as many theories as there are healers. If we choose to see healing as a natural process then we can look for natural answers. If we choose to see healing as a religious or spiritual activity, or somewhere in-between, we can still accept that a process happens and a physical change occurs which can be measured and understood. The one thing that is certain is that there is not enough scientific research into healing, and much of what has been done has been designed to disprove it. Whenever any research is done into very successful healers much confusing data is obtained such as anomalous magnetic fields and heat sources, unusual brain pattern activity and more. Adrian's work can best be understood in terms of manipulating energy. A doctor creates physical change using drugs which affect chemical changes which in turn create electrical or energetic changes on a cellular level. An acupuncturist will use needles to move energy, and Adrian is able to do this using his hands which often generate an intense heat. This heat is probably caused by the movement or transfer of energy and in the past it has occasionally left physical marks on patients' skin through their clothes. Physicists who performed a series of experiments on Adrian some years ago discovered the electromagnetic field over his hands was several thousand percent stronger than that normally registered on most individuals. When people receive healing from Adrian they are usually in no doubt as to what is happening and it can be a very powerful experience. Sceptics and believers alike will feel the same sensations as the energy moves through their body seeking out their imbalances and weak points. How this energy actually creates physical change is difficult to say.

New research at the University of Texas suggests there are genes in our body which can produce proteins which prevent the formation of certain diseases. Perhaps, in terms of treating these diseases, this is a possible explanation? The energy passed from Adrian is able to switch on a healing system which is programmed deep within our cells. Another theory suggested by science writer and physicist Michael Holt, looks at the angle of the bond between the oxygen and hydrogen molecules in water held within the body. Michael considered that Adrian may be able to change the angle of the bond thereby changing the properties of the fluid within the body. A further theory holds that the energy used by Adrian may supercharge enzyme activity creating a healing effect where none previously existed.

Healing can be expressed in a similar way to an electromagnetic field spreading outwards from Adrian and enveloping anyone and anything within a certain distance. People or animals in the vicinity of a healing session often receive healing despite not being in physical contact with Adrian. Often, when a person comes for healing they will bring a friend or family member who will sit in on the session. As the healing takes place the friend will start to experience the physical sensations of healing even though they are not in contact with either the healer or the patient. Often the bad back they came with, or the headache, or the twinge in the knee, will vanish. There have been instances where lifelong back problems have vanished after just twenty minutes of watching a healing session! It's also common when a healing session is being performed on a horse that a horse in a neighbouring stable will start to show exactly the same responses as the horse being treated. Obviously, in this case the neighbouring horse is not aware of what is happening but reacts as if Adrian's hands are being applied despite there being a wall between them. We also see many instances where the horse owner is affected while standing next to the horse. This phenomena is now something of a standing joke, as people bring friends and relatives to stand near Adrian in the hope of a cure.

Further evidence that healing acts rather like a magnetic field is seen when mechanical and electrical equipment is affected by Adrian. It is very common for clocks or watches in the vicinity of a healing session to stop working. This will include both mechanical and electrical time pieces. Doubtless, experiments could be performed to measure the extent and strength of the field. This may then give further clues as to the nature and origins of the healing ability.

Whatever the actual physical process involved, Adrian's healing is a very powerful tool and can be very dramatic for the recipient. The physical sensations encountered during the process have been likened to 'healing with a baseball bat'! There is certainly nothing doubtful about it. Tingling, intense heat, electric shocks and light headedness are very common reactions. It's not unusual for people to be unable to drive afterwards, or to sleep for days after a session. But all of these effects are very positive. After all, the reason people seek healing is to regain their health and that's why they seek out Adrian in particular. Adrian's view is that people want to get well as quickly as possible and are happy to experience such exciting sensations if it means they can be well again.

And what do the doctors say about all this? You can often ask them yourself when you meet them at the clinics. Doctors want to be well too, so treating the medical profession is a normal part of Adrian's work. Doctors, vets, scientists and engineers, housewives, students, pensioners and children can all be met at his clinics.
